Summary

This week, Jennifer found a wine she likes (a first!) so she's taking a break from researching the next episode to watch Dante's Peak, where everything is made up and the facts don't matter. Except for Pierce Brosnan being a gorgeous magical creature. That always matters.

Hello, everybody.

Hello, everybody. This is Jen Metterese. This is a movie break, and I am your host or your hostess, depending on what you prefer. I'm a little bit buzzed, so whatever you pick.

0:31.5

So I've been working all month on new episodes for the podcast, trying to get five out this month so that I can kind of get

0:39.1

used to doing that a little more and also because I'm sort of treating this like a podcast

0:44.1

version of national novel writing months. And it's been a little difficult, but I'm getting

0:49.7

them out. I have one that I'm working on right now, which will be number four um this movie break is not

0:55.1

going to count um because that would be too easy if i could just do movie breaks we would be doing

0:58.9

this every other day um but uh number four is taking a little bit longer than i would have

1:04.8

thought um but i should have expected because it's weather relatedrelated, and meteorology is not my forte.

1:13.3

But I really needed a break from doing all those episodes.

1:19.9

I really don't technically need to do all those episodes,

1:23.1

but I kind of feel a little obligated to,

1:25.8

especially considering that I'm doing the Kickstarter for the podcast.

1:29.1

If you've already donated to the Kickstarter, thanks a lot.

1:32.1

Thank you so much.

1:33.8

If I've gotten in touch with you about what episode you would like me to do, I have it.

1:42.5

I may not have responded to you yet, to you yet, but that's because I'm just swamped.

1:49.0

That's my fault. I'm just notoriously bad about these sorts of things, but if you haven't donated yet, please do so. It's Christmas! Help a poor, lonely podcaster who's going to be all alone on

2:05.8

Sunday and isn't getting any presents. And this is my pity party, but luckily my pity party has

2:12.0

wine. I'm not a wine person, but today I had to get out of the house or else my brain was going to fill with meteorology tidbits and explode.

2:23.9

And so I went to the liquor store because that's where you go when you leave the house.

2:28.3

And so I went and I was going to get vodka, which is usually my shit.
