Motherhood is hard. One second, we think we're doing a good enough job and the next we feel

0:09.8

like the worst mom on the planet. Which is why we need the refreshing truth of the gospel

0:14.9

to be repeated over and over, giving us hope in the everyday moments. So mama, whether

0:20.9

you're sipping cold coffee or doing a sink full of dishes, we hope you'll find true,

0:25.9

encouragement and laughter here. This is the Risen Motherhood Podcast. Thanks for joining us.

Hey guys, thanks for joining us again on Risen Motherhood. This is episode two and we are talking

1:36.8

about today is we're talking about how moms can intentionally choose to fill ourselves up so that

1:43.5

we can pour out to our families or be a blessing to other people in our lives. And the biggest thing

1:49.0

that I would say about self-care, the difference sheets it from other ways we spend our time is

1:53.3

that it's a proactive move that we do. It's not reactive. It's not like, oh, I've had such a hard day

2:00.4

which, you know, we all have been there and I'm just going to plop down on the couch and watch

2:03.9

this TV show. You know, it's saying I'm going to get up early tomorrow morning and do something that

2:10.6

fills me up. And we'll talk more in detail about what exactly how to find what fills you up and
