from across the country every week. I'm your host, Anna Garcia, our case this week.

How much tragedy can one family endure? A father murdered. And now his daughter, a mother of two, is missing and police believe that she too was murdered,

even though her body hasn't been found yet.

The two murders are not connected, but the victims are, and this is a lot of tragedy.

Now, justice hangs in the balance.

Her ex-boyfriend has been charged with killing her, but is there enough evidence to go forward with a trial? A judge is deciding that right now. We're recording this on Friday, September 19th of 2025. Our guest today is Dr. Tracy Tambora, a professor of criminal justice at the University of New Haven in Connecticut,

and a nationally recognized expert on domestic violence and the effects of the criminal justice system.
