Yeah, as usual on Monday, we usually have you on to talk about the box office, even when it's not like super exciting.

But there is some stuff to talk about this week, I think, even though there's not like a new movie there's you know yeah what

is performing and what isn't performing is interesting and also you know I

want to talk to you a little bit about what's coming next week and

then we have a bunch of news to talk about as well but let's you know I'm gonna hand

it over to you you know what was the biggest thing at the box office this weekend? This was sort of a

deja vu weekend at the box office where Spider-Man was once again for the six out of

seven weeks the top movie at the box office was Scream at Number Two and

Sing Two at Number Three. Everything else was fighting for scraps. And

that's really the big thing right now when you talk about what's not performing is,

you know, we won't be at a level of box office normalcy until you can have five or six movies in a weekend

making a relatively healthy amount of money.

The problem right now is even when you have a big movie like Spider-Man or something,

making the money, everything else suffers.

You know, when your number five movie at the box office makes less than two million dollars that's a problem

So that's kind of one of my big takeaways this weekend, but this is what you might call like a regular January weekend
