Welcome to Part 2 with Dr. Nate Williams,

Mosiah chapter 29 through Alma 4.

The next question I have, how is the Order of Nihor different from the Holy Order of God. It really looks like in Chapter 1, Mormon wants to make sure

0:19.4

you parallel or juxtapose the profession of Nihor as opposed to what's going on in the church

0:26.1

or the Holy Order of God. One of the first things I observe is that the profession of Nihor is

0:31.8

always measure up to the ideal?

1:33.2

A third parallel I saw is that the people of Nihor are committed to satisfying the desires

1:38.7

of the natural man, or in the words of Mormon indulging themselves in all manner of wickedness.

1:45.4

While those who stand fast in the faith of God, we're told in verse 25,

1:50.3

are immovable in keeping the commandments of God and bear with patience the

1:54.7

persecutions heaped upon them. A couple more parallels, the Order of
