Hey there, everybody, and welcome to your Monday morning run.

Yes, it's Monday, April 27th.

I'm Amy Robach.

And I'm T.J. Holmes.

And what a Monday we have here.

There's a bunch to get you caught up on because a bunch happened over the weekend. And Robs, let's just get right to it, what we saw on Saturday night, the White House Correspondence Dinner. A lot of new details coming out. We also heard from the president in his first sit-down interview. So let's get caught up there on, I guess, Rob, and even a lot of people probably missed this on Saturday because it was Saturday night and it was late. And he had a press conference at what, 1030, 11 o'clock? A lot of people weren't up on this until they got up yesterday. Yeah, that's true. And we would have missed it. Had your 13 year old not been checking her phone while we were watching a movie, which is the only

reason why we found out what was going on. But yes, today on Monday, we have a tremendous

amount of new details about the shocking and very chaotic scene at this weekend's White House

Correspondents' Dinner, the president being rushed off the stage by Secret Service, not

longer after the event began, all because, yes, an armed man

sprinted through a security checkpoint.

And a lot of this video you've probably seen by now, it's all over social media,

it's been all over the television all weekend, but yeah, guy sprinted.

He was in full sprint by the time he got to that security checkpoint, but he didn't make it to the ballroom.

He was stopped by law enforcement. However, he was not shot by law enforcement. That's a part of

this story as well. But in that ballroom, we were talking about there was confusion about what was

actually going on, what the threat actually was. And Robs, the threat never entered the room where the president, the first lady, and his cabinet were gathered with 2,500 journalists.

Yes, thank goodness for that.
