I'm Amy Robach. Just this moment I realize it's April Fool's Day. Oh, really? Just this moment. Hey there, I'm T.J. Holmes, and clearly not looking at calendars. We're not April Fool's jokes, people. No, I don't like receiving them and I don't like giving them. So, but pranks is we got enough real life going on right now. Yeah. I feel like we've been pranked. Sometimes all that's going on in the world.

But hey there, folks, happy April Fool's Day.

Hope you get through it unscathed.

But we need to get right to a number of stories, some of them breaking stories, but several of them were getting updates on today.

First of all, the big NASA launch, sending humans towards the moon for the first time in 50 years.

That launch is happening

today. Also, we have a historic hearing today at the Supreme Court over birthright citizenship.

As we speak, that is going to be starting here in the next little bit. Also, be a special

guest at that. Also, the president is making an address to the nation tonight. We just found

out about that last night.

And we do have concerning news this morning where Grammy winner, Megan the Stallion, who fell ill while she was performing on Broadway last night.

We need to get to all that stuff. But yes, Robs, let's start with what is the big news and big history being made today for a launch.

Yes. And finally, we can begin with some positive, exciting news

that can hopefully unify us all. The United States heading back to the moon, or at least toward

the moon today, for the first time in 50 years. Countdown is on for the launch of Artemis 2.

Four astronauts will head out on a 10-day mission that will take them around the Earth and around the moon.

Say, slingshoting is the word they use, but this is part of the overall Artemis mission to eventually set up a base on the moon.

So this is how it gets started. They did Artemis 1. This is Artemis 2, but this is the first time that we have a crude mission in Artemis. And this is the first time we have seen humans go in the direction of the moon since 1972. That was Apollo 17. Now, like you said, we're sending astronauts to the moon, but they're not going to be on the moon, going to go towards it. So not going to be making a stop, but slingshattering around it, but robes, you said as well, they're going,

the trajectory is still going to send a human being farther in space than we have ever seen

before. Yeah, it's cool. It's super cool. We just did a whole episode on this, the podcast before
