You won't often hear me say this, but thank goodness for the FBI.

If you're not from Massachusetts, you may not yet have heard of the Karen Reed murder case. She's accused of

killing her boyfriend Boston cop John O'Keefe, but many in the public believe

she's the target of a cover-up job by the good old boy network in Canton in Norfolk County.

Pre-trial hearings reveal this week that the FBI is conducting its own investigation

into what happened that fateful night in January 2022.

Their experts say O'Keefe's fatal injuries are inconsistent with a vehicle strike,

the story that the state is pushing to charge Karen Reed with second-degree murder.

We'll see how this all plays out, but the Fed-level intervention is a huge victory for Reed

and her supporters in this case, and it may blow the whole thing wide open.

So kudos to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
