Joe. It is Friday, February 25th, day two of Russia's unprovoked invasion of a sovereign nation.

Ukrainians woke up to another day of fear and horror as Russia

pressed ahead with its invasion of the eastern European country. Explosions rocked the capital of

Kiev and air raid sirens sounded for a second day this morning as U.S. officials warned

that Russian troops were just 20 miles outside the capital city, cautioning that the city could fall quickly.

Early Friday morning, a rocket crashed into a civilian apartment building, injuring three people.

Ukrainian officials say there were multiple missile strikes in Kiev, but the targets

and the damage remain unclear.

Ukraine's foreign affairs minister condemned the rocket attacks in a tweet saying, quote,

horrific Russian rocket strikes on Kiev.

Last time our capital experienced anything like this, it was in 1941 when it

was attacked by Nazi Germany. Ukraine defeated that evil and will defeat this one. Stop Putin,

isolate Russia, sever all ties, kick Russia out of everywhere.

According to President Zelensky, at least 137 civilians and military personnel have been killed so far in Ukraine.
