White House announced that their deadline for their workplace vaccine mandate is January 4th.

It's great timing. Make sure everyone is vaccinated right after the holiday.

Some more COVID news. I heard that there's a potentially faster spreading delta variant

moving through the U.S. called Delta Plus.

It's basically the Delta variant, but if you get it, you can also stream movies and shows for $13.

It is Friday, November the 5th, and it is a busy Friday morning as you look at a live picture of New York City, a couple of hours south in Washington, D.C.

Because after months of negotiations, the House is set to vote today on both the Build Back Better Act and the bipartisan infrastructure bill.

Overnight, the Rules Committee voted along party lines to advance the final pieces of

legislation to the full House.

Debate will begin in just a couple of hours at 8 a.m. Eastern time.

Democrats worked late into the night finalizing deals on the last remaining issues in the

spending bill concerning immigration, state and local taxes, and the overall cost of the legislation.

So, Joe, here we are. It's taken several months and lots of back and forth and lots of hand-wringing

among Democrats to get there. A vote today in the House? Do you think they'll get it through?

Well, you know, I really, I can't believe Nancy would bring it up on the floor if you weren't going to get both of the bills through.

Of course, the most important thing is, again, let's act up, let's act like grownups here, pass the infrastructure bill, have a huge signing ceremony because it's a big damn deal, right?

And get the headlines, get the press releases about it, go around the country,

show people how it's not going to only bring about new jobs,

but it's also going to make bridges and roads, broadband, make their lives better.
