headlines from overnight concerning Liverpool FC and for the second day running we

are going to be talking about transfers transfers transfers but whereas yesterday

I had Theo Squires on the line with me today I've

picked up the phone to Matt Addison. Good morning Matt. It does feel like the

transfer market is beginning to hot up doesn't it?

Yeah it turns to the films we didn't really know exactly how it would pan out, not just for Liverpool, but for teams

across the country and further afield, but yeah, it certainly seems like the wheels are in motion and

various different players obviously

Manchester City is we're going to come to very busy probably a few other teams will be as

well and see that news of Jamal Lewis and Liverpool which we are going to go into very shortly and yeah it seems like a few different things that are going on.

It's certainly an interesting time to be keeping an eye on all of those things.

It certainly is and we'll start with Jamele, as you mentioned then on yesterday's pod if no one's listened to it, we did

report that yes, Liverpool are interested in signing

the Norwich city left back but Theo Squire as you join me questioned whether you'd

want to join Liverpool given he will primarily be back up to Andy Robinson who is regarded as one of the best left

backs in in world football. But according to our former Liverpool FC correspondent James

Pierce who now writes for the athletic Lewis is actually desperate to join the new

Premier League champions and understandably so given what

Yurken clubs got going on at Anfield. However both James Pierce and Matt

Law of the Telegraph mat suggests there could be another obstacle in getting this deal done and it's to do with the price
