Hello, it's Paul Wielock and welcome to the Morning Bulletin podcast where we round up all the big

headlines from overnight concerning Liverpool FC most of the naturally surround

last night's win at Brighton that moved the newly crowned champions on to 92 points but we do have one or two other stories that aren't

to do with Liverpool's 30th victory of this incredible Premier League season and to go

through the headlines in more detail I'm pleased to say I'm joined on the line

by Matt Addison. Good morning mate

it was a really good game last night wasn't it it one of those that I suppose it was

in contrast to the weekend game it was exciting and both teams having a bit of a go so it was a

nice one to sort of dip into this morning I think. It really was it was a

certainly a much improved performance by Liverpool after the win over Villa and the defeat to Manchester City but sadly

one of probably the big talking points from the match was the injury sustained by the Captain

Jordan Henderson hopefully we'll hear more from the club today but what was you

you're going to cop saying about it last night Matt?

Yeah and it doesn't sound too good at all does it that knee injury I think it was the clash with Eves Presumma halfway through the second

half and obviously it came off. But yeah, Ers and Clark basically said it doesn't look too good. it's not one of those that you know in

his words it's not nothing I think was was the phrase that he used and suppose we

don't know for sure yet you've got to wait and see what the scan says.

There was some talk that the scandal would take place last night.

I think it's more likely to be today.

I think that is the case just because that's the way these things were and I'm no medical expert but I think you

sort of have to wait and maybe let the swelling go down or whatever before you do those sorts of things
