to be back together again with you for another episode. Yeah, this is a lot of fun. You're in charge

this week. I'm going to get out of the way. My job is to make sure the right things go up on the

screen, but you're going to help us see a major dilemma in Mormon theology, and I can't wait.

I'm excited as I've helped you prepare for this all week. Not only dilemma, but deception,

and if I were a general authority, I could come up with something else to start with a letter D

to complete that. Try ump for it. But at any rate, at any rate, yes, my challenge tonight, my

mission should I decide to accept it, and I have is to try and get through all of this material

in under an hour. We've got lots of audio. We've got lots of video. Bill Reel is the AV specialist,

the audiovisual guy. So let's see if I can do this. Now, first off, let me let everybody know.

We're not going to go into all the stuff that demonstrates that Brigham Young taught the Adam

God theory. Okay, we'd be here for two hours doing that alone. We are going to go to one piece

of information, a conclusive piece of information, just so if there happens to be anybody out there

who's not familiar with what the Adam God theory is, and has only heard about it and hushed

whispers in the corridors of the church. You'll know what it is. And this comes from the lecture

at the Vale at the St. George Temple, which Brigham Young put together. You remember Joseph Smith

gave him the announcement, Joseph Smith dies in 1844. It's a little over 30 years later. It's

finally being committed to writing. And Brigham Young has basically been tinkering with this

over the course of three decades. And he's trying to do the best job he can of

getting what it was that Joseph gave him, orally, 30 years before. But he also decides that as part
