Hey everybody welcome back to cold case murder mysteries. I'm your host Ryan Kraus bringing you this month's feature episode and what a

fascinating case it is. Of course I'm talking about the mysterious death of

20-year-old Morgan Ingram on December 2nd 2011 and Carbondale, Colorado, which left many people in a heated

debate over the cause.

Was it suicide or murder?

You see, Morgan had been in regular contact with police regarding a stalker who

was terrorizing her from outside the family's home, a campaign that was spearheaded by her

mother Tony Ingram. Yet, despite an ever increasing

escalation of security measures around the exterior of the house, the stalker

remained elusive. By the end, he was never caught on camera taking an action against

them. Of course this event still took quite a toll in the family, especially Morgan, whose depression continued to get worse, over the course of this

time period.

By December, she died a puzzling death while alone in her bedroom. While the toxicology report ultimately

unvails more questions than answers, the result in the aftermath is the

Ingram family steadfastly insisting that Morgan was murdered by her stalker.

With the police eventually questioning the existence of the stalker, after months of investigation

in filing detailed reports, and to no avail, the notion that Morgan committed suicide

gained a lot of momentum with the public. Soon the Ingram family found themselves

pleading their case not only to police, but also to the general population.

And that's when the gloves came off.

Things got ugly on a few occasions.
