Now on to our top news. Nancy Pelosi is finally pulling the trigger.

The House Speaker set up a vote on Wednesday to send the articles of impeachment to the Senate.

That decision follows weeks of delay and mounting criticism from both Republicans and Democrats.

The Senate would then proceed with the trial in a matter of days.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's plan is to begin the trial and consider witnesses later

rather than up front.

Republicans currently lack the 51 votes needed to dismiss the impeachment charges

outright, but many expect the trial to end either an an acquittal or conviction.

President Trump says he'll be diverting another $7.2 billion to build the border wall.

According to the Washington Post, that's five times more than what Congress permitted

Trump to allocate toward the wall in the 2020 budget.
