We are still lingering in the afterglow of Brian, the butcher, Harman grabbing the open championship and never letting it escape his grass like a wild turkey on his farm.

Nate dog. How you doing, bud? House, I am remarkably excited about the next two months of golf. I think that the changes along with some of the ambiguity that the PGA tour made in response to the live insanity.

Have suddenly put a pretty bright spotlight on a lot of players we know and love who are going to have to perform super well over the next couple months to do things like make the tour championship, make the FedEx cup playoffs at all, which means

will we see them in the big elevated events next year, much less make the rider cup. So these next two months of golf, which usually are sleepy and we sort of joke about the stupidity of the FedEx cup are suddenly really filled with intrigue.

I'm not going to stop making jokes about the stupidity of the FedEx cup.

Oh, but I thought maybe I was going to get you to talk. At least say something nice about this. No, you can't what I totally agree with you.

Okay, football doesn't start till September. We've got we thought you do respect football started this week.

Pretty camps are open. There's nothing for you to watch. It's time to bed. Yeah, but there's lots to look at lots of research.

There's lots of hope for terms of watching actual golf on TV. I think we can make a compelling case for the next two months of golf.

Well, whether we watch it on TV or not, definitely tracking the twists and turns because you mentioned the ambiguity of next season, you mentioned eligibility for the designated events.

And that is really the thing that's out there. That's the key prize. That remains the great unknown while the PGA tour and its Saudi counterpart work out the possibility of some kind of arrangement.

If there are going to be events next season where there is compulsory attendance and it seems like maybe that's in the mix. Although, yes, even that element is sort of up of the air.
