Hello, everyone, and welcome back to our Moon Day mini-sode edition for the week of

November 1st, 1st of Happy Halloween, Happy Saoan, Happy Day of the Dead, Dia de la Smart

Dose to everyone who practices and observes any of these holidays.

To be honest, Halloween is not my favorite holiday.

I know it makes me a padwitch, I suppose, but it's the truth, not my fave, and I'm sharing

so that y'all who don't always feel like proper witches because you aren't into certain

stereotypical witchy holidays or stereotypical witchy things, feel okay with that.

There is no one way to practice witchcraft, there's no one way to be a witch.

It's always about what works for you and what feels right for you.

And what I do want to share is, in my practice, these cross-quarter days, for me, are less

of a one-night event to, say, have to take advantage of, in more of an entryway to an entire

season that lasts until the solstice.

It's a mini portal, if you will, where we have the chance to touch base with the energies

of that season, and we can try to embody them, we can try to collaborate with the energies

and the practices that go along with this time of year.

And Sauen can kick off a particular process of shedding and letting go and being silent

and letting answers come to you in the quiet, in your dreams.

It can highlight a time of wanting to commune with the ancestors, with healing ancestral

trauma, with checking out your past lives, with checking in with your past selves in order
