Summary

Josh Smith is a Master Bladesmith that forges custom museum-quality knives using exotic handle materials and precious metals. He's also the President of Montana Knife Company, a shop he founded to focus on building high-quality, well-built custom knives at an affordable price. A fifth-generation son of Montana, Josh started making hunting knives at eleven years old, and would go on to become the youngest Journeyman Smith in the American Bladesmith Society at 15, eventually becoming the youngest Master Smith at 19. It wouldn't be long until a friend would mention Josh's company to podcaster Joe Rogan, and soon after an endorsement on Rogan's podcast would lead to a huge boon in business, with swift connections to the likes of UFC Founder Dana White and even President Donald Trump. Since then, Montana Knife Company has only continued to explode in growth - today, they're building a 55,000 square-foot retail facility with large showroom windows offering an inside view into the manufacturing process, and even a Black Rifle Coffee shop to boot. They're hailed as some of the finest knife makers in the world, and all made proudly right here in the United States. So what's the secret to making some of the world's best blades? Is there any real value to Damascus steel, or any of the other fad blades you see today? And most importantly - when is Montana Knife Company finally going to start offering a folded blade? ---------- Support Josh Smith -  Website: https://www.montanaknifecompany.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/montanaknifecompany YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y69ZnNAX0NY Website: https://www.joshsmithknives.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/joshsmithknives Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/joshsmithknives ---------- TEAM DOG FOOD, TREATS & SUPPLEMENTS Be Your Dog’s Hero: Veteran-owned by a former Navy SEAL and Special Operations K9 Trainer, Team Dog provides a complete diet of science-backed premium dog food, treats, and supplements to optimize your dog’s health, forged from rigorous standards and real-world expertise. https://www.teamdog.shop  TEAM DOG ONLINE TRAINING Mike Ritland – a former Navy SEAL & Special Operations K9 trainer – shares his simple and effective dog training program to build trust and control with your dog. Based on Mike’s bestselling book “Team Dog, Train the Navy SEAL Way”, join tens of thousands of families that successfully trained their way to a better dog.  https://www.teamdog.pet  SHOP ALL THE MIKE RITLAND BRANDS  Get all your Mike Ritland branded gear - Mike Drop | Trikos | Team Dog https://shop.mikeritland.com/ Learn more about your ad choices.
