Actor, director, and Emmy Award winner, Timothy Busfield, known for 30-something and

Field of Dreams, and the husband of actress Melissa Gilbert is finally in police custody.

Authorities issued an arrest warrant related to sexual contact and child abuse charges tied to

alleged incidents that occurred decades ago why Busfeld was working in television. After the

arrest warrant was issued, his whereabouts were unknown for days until he finally surrendered

to law enforcement, was taken into custody, and has since denied all allegations

in a video he made online. The case is still currently moving through the criminal court

system, with prosecutors seeking to keep him detained as proceedings continue. In Minnesota,

a daycare worker with the history of, quote, attention-seeking behavior has been charged with the death of an infant just days before the child's first birthday.

Investigators allege the baby was suffocated by the woman. The daycare facility has been closed and the case is moving forward through the court system.

In West Virginia, a stepmother has been charged with murder after her severely malnourished

11-year-old stepchild died in her care.
