Now, let's join Kurt for today's episode. Hey, friends. Welcome back. We are in Psalm 18. And Lord willing, we will finish the Psalm today.

I love this section of the Psalm because we see David going back and forth from speaking about God, third person, to speaking directly to God. And I love that.

And it just, it's almost as if David says, I want to talk about the Lord. Now I want to talk to

the Lord. He had this sense of God's presence in his life that is just so refreshing.

And something that I think we need to all get a hold of.

Sometimes we kind of compartmentalize God, don't we? We talk to him at certain times or we think

about him in certain ways, and we want to get to the place in our life, but we're practicing

the presence of God, that we're just keenly aware of the fact that he is with us.

Look at verse number 40 of Psalm 18. The Bible says, thou, so he's speaking directly to God,

thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies that I might destroy them that hate me.

They cried, but there was none to save them, even unto the Lord, but he answered them not.

Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind?
