Now, let's join Kurt for today's episode. Hey, friends, welcome back. We are in Matthew 14.

We're going to finish the chapter today. And truth be

told, we probably should have just plowed through and finished the chapter last episode

because we were close enough to do it. But here we are. And so we'll just slow down a bit and

look at this section and learn a lesson or two.

So Matthew 14, Jesus has just walked on the water in the middle of the night,

really toward the beginning of the morning would be a more accurate description.

And remember Peter at the behest of Jesus, came out of that

boat, come, Jesus said, and he walked on that water. And then he began to sink, and Jesus rescued him

and brought him in the boat. Now, here's the thing. And Matthew records some of the story. And if you want to get a comprehensive view of the

entire story, then you read the other parallel accounts. And when you do, you read about another

miracle in this. And that is, as soon as Jesus and Peter came back in that boat, the boat was immediately

at shore. So Peter walked out in that storm. He doubted in that storm, but when they got back in

that boat, the storm was over, and the boat was at land. And that's an amazing story.

How did that happen?

I don't know.

How did Jesus do any of the miracles that he did?
