Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars. Today's the anniversary of the slap slap aversory. The 2022 Oscars were held a year ago today.

And yeah, that was the big headline the next morning. Will's punishment was a 10 year ban from all Academy related events, nine years to go.

Y'all know what happened to me getting smacked by shug Smith. Everybody knows. Yes, it happened. I got smell like a year. No, the people I didn't hurt. It still hurts.

Okay, okay. All right. We always start with the top story. Today we will start with weather. The threat of those dangerous storms in the southeast is continuing today.

It was a brutal weekend for a lot of the country. There were at least 20 confirmed tornadoes. President Biden declared a major disaster.

And Mississippi following that quote rare, long lasting tornado on Friday. That was rough. The footage of the wreckage is just heartbreaking.

Search and rescue teams have spent the weekend digging through the destroyed buildings. As of now, it's reported that at least 26 people lost their lives.

But unfortunately, that number might get even bigger.

Georgia was hit hard yesterday. The governor issued a state of emergency after multiple tornadoes passed through.

I don't believe any deaths have been reported there, but two tigers escaped a zoo after their enclosure was damaged. They were both recaptured.

And yeah, like I said, over 20 million people from Texas to the East Coast are still under threat of severe storms today. Stay safe out there.

Okay. All right. Onto a couple sports headlines. Now the big one out there is March Madness, baby.

For the women, the tournament continues tonight. They're in the middle of the elite eight Maryland will face South Carolina.

Before Ohio State takes on Virginia Tech. After tonight, we'll be down to the final four. And you can't lost on Saturday.

They've been a part of the last 14 final fours and that streak is over.

As for the dudes, last night was historic. Three teams are now headed to the final four for the first time ever.

San Diego State won their game by one point. They're going to play Florida Atlantic on Saturday.

The first final four game for both of those teams. And after that game last night, the University of Miami came back to be Texas.
