Hey, friends, welcome back to today's episode.

We are in Matthew chapter 12, and we are in verse number 38.

I want to jump right in.

This is a season in Jesus ministry where he is being rejected,

or at least challenged by unbelieving religious teachers. And that happened throughout the

ministry of Jesus. He was received gladly by the common man because he spoke in a way that they were not used

to. He spoke with authority. He spoke with compassion. He spoke to their needs. And he spoke with hope.

But the religious leaders had used religion, had used their messages to really handcuff people.

And people began to loathe religion.

It was a burden to them that they simply could not bear.

And Jesus was coming to them with this message of come unto me.
