Now, let's see where Kurt is today.

We're standing on a tell, and by now everyone knows what a tell is.

This is Tel Azika.

And in most cases, when people come to Israel, because Azika is somewhat of a

footnote name in the Bible or city name in the Bible, people really don't associate it with anything.

And yet, Azica was a very important location in the Bible for a number of reasons.

So let me just take you through them chronologically, because oftentimes the way God teaches

us is over time. And there's a whole branch of theology called biblical theology,

which is the ongoing revelation of God, of himself in the Word of God.

So building layer upon layer, ironically, as we stand on a tell.

So look over this way.

You see the mountains in the background? That's the central ridge.

So from Hebron all the way down south, all the way up to, you can see the buildings of Jerusalem,

all the way up to where we were when we went to Shiloh, that's the central spine.

We are standing in a hill that's part of the Sheffala, which is the lowlands. And we're heading

now toward the airport, which is on the coastal plain. So remember, Israel rises that way. You're seeing a good
