Ginger is going to track all the severe weather across the country, including 50 million Americans along the I-95 corridor on Front Watch.

There were some rescues overnight, and Ginger is going to tell us the big cities that are on alert.

But we're going to begin, George, with the wildfires burning out of control at one of our nation's natural wonders in the middle of the summer tourism season.

Thousands of acres have been scorched at the Grand Canyon while dozens of structures have gone

up in flames including an historic lodge. Faith of Boubey is at the Grand Canyon forest this morning.

Good morning to you Faith. Yeah, good morning to you, Robin. the two wildfires are burning on the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

And this morning, they're still burning out of control, 0% contained.

This is as far as visitors who are being allowed to go before they are turned around,

meaning thousands of people from all over the world who plan their vacations around the

North Rim are now scrambling to salvage those plans.

This morning, two fast-moving wildfires raging in the Grand Canyon, plumes of smoke billowing from the North Rim,
