0:42.0	We reported this weekend that Trump's son, Donald Jr. met with a Russian lawyer after he was promised damaging information on Hillary, Adam Clinton.

0:55.0	This meeting was June 9, 2016 at the Trump Tower.
0:59.0	And just to place that in time, that's right around the time Donald Trump was crowned the Republican nominee.

1:08.0	And when you say Russian lawyer, what do you mean by that? And who is the lawyer?
1:14.0	The Russian lawyer is Natalia Vesonetskaya, and she has ties to the Kremlin, and she has a lengthy history of Russian clients.
1:27.0	She's formally married to a former deputy transportation minister of the Moscow region, and her clients include state owned businesses and a senior government official son, whose company was under investigation in the United States at the time that they met.
1:41.0	So it sounds like she's a highly connected figure within the Russian government.
1:47.0	It would seem that way, and I also know through my reporting a former senior law enforcement official said that the FBI was aware of her and were interested in her activities.
1:59.0	And they weren't the bureau wasn't quite clear what her role was.
2:03.0	So let's talk about how this reporting unfolded over the past 48 hours on Saturday, because I got the news alert about it.
