Starting with collective grief after an attack in Vancouver.

Seattle's Filipino community is coming together to remember victims of Saturday's car attack at a Filipino festival in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Devin Cabanella says vigils scheduled for the next two nights in Seattle will give people an opportunity to connect

and grieve together.

Filipino communities around the globe have a very strong affinity with each other.

Cabanella was in Canada with the Seattle Filipino dance team, but wasn't aware of the tragedy

until he left.

The dance director of the group contacted me and said, hey, are you all okay? Something happened.

The car attack killed 11 people and dozens more were injured. Tonight's vigil goes until 8 p.m. at a resting place in Seattle's Chinatown

International District. Tomorrow starts at 5 at the Filipino Community Center in South Seattle.

Seattle's St. James Cathedral held a requiem mass today to remember Pope Francis who died last week.

During today's mass, Seattle Archbishop, Paul D.H. and remembered Francis as a man of mercy.

The Archbishop recounted what the Pope said in his final public remarks on Easter Sunday.
