Starting with the sudden grounding of all Alaska Airlines flights.

Alaska air officials say they're getting operations back on track today after they

ordered a several hour ground stop last night because of an IT outage. Nearly 200 flights on Alaska and

Horizon Air got canceled. One weary-eyed traveler was still there this morning after a canceled

flight on Sunday. We've been here all night.

We've been up for over 24 hours.

No vouchers, no hotel rooms, nothing.

That traveler at C-TAC was trying to make it back to LAX.

In a statement today, the airline said there was an unexpected failure at a data center on systems that run airline operations.

The company says the outage was not due to a cyber attack.

Now to a cougar attack.

A four-year-old kid was reportedly bit by a cougar in Olympic National Park yesterday.

According to initial reports, witnesses say the child was on a popular trail on Hurricane Ridge when the cougar emerged and delivered a bite.
