All right. Let's do it. It's first thing with Kevin Mano, a quick look at all the headlines across the

board. You feel like you know what's going on in this world as you start your day. Before we get

there, some celebrity birthdays, this is a really popular date for country singers to be born.

Cassidy Pope, Leanne Rhymes, Jake Owens, and Shania Twain. All of them celebrating birthdays

today. How about that? Also Jack Black, Jennifer Coolidge, and Daniel Stern. Happy birthday,

everybody. Solid list. Also on the state and history today is the 60th anniversary of Dr. Martin

Luther King Jr's historic I have a dream speech. There were a quarter of a million people out there

watching him at the Lincoln Memorial 60 years ago today. My four little children, one day living

in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their

character. I have a dream. Okay. All right. We'll start with the top story and with that anniversary

in mind, it makes this one a whole lot more impactful. One of the top headlines from the weekend

was a reportedly racially motivated shooting at a dollar general store in Jacksonville, Florida.

Three Black people lost their lives. A white man and a mask and a bulletproof vest had a weapon

marked with a swastika and he took the lives of two men and one woman Saturday afternoon. The

victims were 52, 29 and 19 years old. The shooter, who is 21 years old, also took his own life.

The attorney general said that the Justice Department is, quote, investigating this attack as a hate

crime and an act of racially motivated violent extremism. On to sports now, a bunch of stuff here.

First several updates on Spain's soccer federation president, the guy that kissed a female

player on the lips after the World Cup win. First, we thought he was going to announce his

resignation on Friday. He didn't. That did not happen. He said that the kiss was consensual
