Hey, friends.

Welcome back.

We are in the middle of a really exciting story in the Bible,

story about how a guy gets his bride.

And we all love a love story.

And this is a love story. And it is unfolding before our

eyes. Abraham is old and he knows that his son needs a wife. He knows that the promise of God will be

fulfilled as his son has children. You can't have children without that wife.

So he gives this instruction to his steward, Eli Azar, hey, I want you to go to my father's

land. I want you to find a bride for my wife that will be akin to the belief and worldview of my son.

Don't marry a Canaanite.

And I want you to go.

And if she is unwilling to come back, that's on her.

But insofar that you can find her and God will lead you.

My son needs a bride.
