1:05.4	All right, starting today with an update on the monolith, you know, the monolith, the silver column that was
1:13.0	discovered in the middle of a deserted cove in Utah by government officials last week. Well, first,
1:18.8	despite the state of Utah not wanting to say exactly where it was so that amateur hikers
1:23.7	wouldn't injure themselves trying to get to it, the internet was, of course, able to locate it.
1:28.9	And some folks used Google Earth's historical imaging data to determine that the monolith has
1:34.4	apparently been there since at least 2015 or 16.
1:39.0	The monolith was located near the filming sites for several movies and TV shows, including
1:43.6	Westworld,
1:44.6	Indiana Jones The Last Crusade, and 127 hours. So the going theory now is that it was some
1:51.0	type of prop at one point or maybe placed there by a crew member for who knows what reason.
1:56.7	And I specifically said was located, because it's gone.
