films, it appears we may be one step closer to the flying cars seen in part two of the trilogy.

For a report from GNN or the Good News Network, the Samson Switchblade, a hybrid car slash plane,

has achieved liftoff and taken its maiden flight.

Less than two weeks ago, a veteran pilot drove the switchblade to the airport before deploying

its wings and tail, then taking off for a six-minute flight 500 feet above the ground.
