0:59.0	I've owned dogs my entire adult life, and about 2 years ago I decided it was time to get a puppy.
1:04.4	They have been very involved in his care and training since we got him, so they're really bonded to him.
1:09.4	Unfortunately, this puppy, who's now almost 2, has had chronic health issues that are progressive.
1:14.5	We're struggling to even get him stable at this point.
1:17.8	His chronic health issues have taken a toll on my ability to do my job, be an engaged parent, and be a good human.
1:24.5	My mental health and confidence have taken a huge hit, so is my checkbook.
1:28.8	Recently, a downturn in his health included an $8,000 emergency surgery bill, and he's still struggling.
