We're heading to the Middle East again this week.

We're talking Egypt, but not just the Egypt that we see in the museums and we see in the pyramids.

We're talking about megalithic Egypt.

And this is becoming a very important distinction from the pharaonic period and later periods when the romans took over

Egypt and what i'm trying to get at here is that there is a great deal of evidence for a very

sophisticated earlier people of advanced technological abilities.

and today we are taking you to Egypt to look at a lot of evidence from the locals standpoint,

and that would be Muhammad Ibrahim, who is an archaeologist, who is also a tour guide,

one of the best in the entire country.

And we are highlighting our tour that's coming up April 28th through May 10th, starting in Cairo.

It's a tour that focuses on the great advancements that have

been, that have taken place over the centuries, and new evidence that is coming to light

that the pharaohs had nothing to do with not only the pyramids, but if you remember when we had Ben Van

Kirkwick on the program, there is evidence of high technology in stone cutting, unusual

stone bowls, plates, vases. And what I've come to see, and we've seen it when we had Chris Dunn on the program,

is that there's what I call signatures, the signatures of megalithic buildings.

Most notably, and we'll see this when we're on this tour at the Grand Egyptian Museum.

There are some of the largest, if not the largest sculptures in the world in Egypt.

And until very recently, we took it upon ourselves to think that we believe that the explanation was that these are just

fantastic artists, that they were amazing sculptors.
