My name is Rob Maower and today we are talking about a couple updates on model 3 production

and a new tweet from Elon.

Tesla stock on Thursday finished down 0.71% to 316.71 cents, this compared to the Nasdac with a strong day up 1.39%.

The first thing that I wanted to mention today is that a couple of hours ago, Elon

tweeted a link to the Elon Musk versus Short Sellers thread on the Tesla Motors

Clubs.

He captioned that link with, quote, interesting read, end quote.

So this was the thread analyzing the similarities between Fairfax Financial and the situation that Tesla is in right now

that we discussed on the podcast back on July 4th.

Elon had previously about a week ago retweeted an article by Clean Technica that referenced this post.

It seemed at that point in time that he would have been aware of the post.

So it's interesting to see the timing of almost a week later

that he's now just that we've seen from Elon of calling out the short sellers and calling out the media.

I think there are just a ton of different angles to consider to this, but one of the primary

angles that I see is that Elon is raising attention to this so that if this sort of behavior is occurring with the

short sellers they may be a little bit more hesitant to continue engaging in that

type of behavior now that it's being directly called out and awareness is being

raised to it.
