Welcome to the Movers and Shakers podcast. This weeks guest is Nick Ameluxen. Nick is a real estate investor, focused on B and C class apartment complexes in the great city of Austin, TX. He has been investing in real estate since 2015, but didn't start focusing on multifamily until 2018 when he decided to reach out to Jake and Gino. Since then Nick has closed on 53 units in Austin, with another 71 units set to close in September. His goal is to transfer out of my W2 job, and focus on building something really spectacular.

rapidly approaching Florida. But at the same time, we got a lot of good things happening

And actually, less than three weeks, we have a money mixer in Nashville.

Gino, tell the folks a little bit about what money mixers are and what our community will be getting into.

Well, you know, the evolution of the money mixer was let's just get together.

Let's get the community together, all the students, and let's get on a bus.

Let's go look at a couple of properties.

And what I found over the last couple of years, to get into multifamily, it's like getting

into a business and it's like, you need to join a community.

You need to join some place where there's a like-minded investors with you.

So the money mixer was just an evolution of getting students together who are in the
