Welcome back, everybody, to the Football Guys Daily Update. You give us 10 minutes. We'll give you everything you need to know to make you the most informed fantasy football player in your league. I'm Mike Dempsey along with Football Guys own Bob Harris, Bob, a day away from week seven kicking off. So let's look at the injury reports, the practice reports for the Steelers and the Bengals for the Steelers. It really comes down to this.

0:21.4

Calvin Austin, the third, still not practicing, doesn't look like we're going to see him at least in week seven. Right. Austin's been the second most targeted receiving asset on the roster. Just ahead of Jalen Warren and John Hussmith, other than D.K. Metcalfe, who's drawing better than 20% of the targets. No receivers pulling it in a double-digit target share.

0:36.9

So don't get cute.

0:38.6

I think you need to dig into that receiving core.

0:40.6

It's, you know, sorry. percent of targets. No receivers pulling it in a double-digit target share. So don't get cute.

0:38.6

Think you need to dig into that receiving core. You know, somebody might rise up, but it's going to be

0:43.0

an outlier. And for the Bengals, their tight ends, Mike Keseke's got the peck injury. Tanner Hudson's

0:49.6

in a concussion protocol. So maybe Noah Fant as a one-week streamer here. Game on for Noah Fant if there's

0:55.9

no Tanner Hudson. Yeah, it looks that way is how it's shaping up to be anyway. So let's reflect on

1:01.5

some of what came out of Monday night football less than two days ago here, Bob. DJ Moore

1:06.9

briefly taken to the hospital. I guess it turned out to be a groin injury. It's kind of a weird

1:10.9

injury to take someone to the hospital for, but they say he's going to be okay moving forward day to

1:16.6

day. But he was off to a pretty good start in the game and then left and obviously couldn't pile up

1:22.8

any more yardage. But how do you see him and his value the rest of the season? So he's currently wide receiver 49 just in overall production, right? And so I checked it on our football guys, colleague Dave Klugie's rest of season rankings. They're updated on the side every Tuesday. I recommend checking them out. And he has him at wide receiver 47. So you're looking at a wide receiver three flex level play at best. I think that's probably

1:45.1

about right. And there might be some more decent weeks. But he's not someone I want to rely on for

1:49.6

front line production. All right. DeAndre Swift had a big game, 108 yards on the ground on 14

1:54.6

carries, caught three for 67 with a touchdown. Bob. So is this indicative of a rise in value or are you looking to sell high?

2:02.9

Yes. I mean, like, you know, I think you could say both, right? I mean, he was running back 30 through

2:07.7

the first five weeks. He was running back six or four week six. It was enough to make, move him up to

2:12.4

running back 16 on the season. I'd be selling that pretty hard if I had an opportunity and found

2:17.3

someone in my league that had a need. For Washington, Jacori Kroski-Marrett ran for 68 yards. It's a little disappointing in the yardage total, but also lost a fumble for the second straight game, are you confident that Bill has a strong grip on the lead running back role with the commanders? Well, fumbles aren't great unless you're Ramon, Ray Stevenson,

2:34.4

and playing for Mike Vrable in New England, apparently. Look, he's done a nice job, but ESPN.com, John Kime, you know, put it nice. He gets too loose with the football, and it hurts him when he's running through the middle. There's a lot to like about him. He has 175 yards combined rushing in the two games he started, but the ball security is something we're going to have to monitor.
