Taylor Hall and goaltender, Linas Olmark, both had big nights yesterday evening,

and the Bruins improved a four and one as a result of that,

thanks to a two-one

shootout win over Anaheim at TD Garden. Hall scored in the second period, then added the game

winner in the fourth round of the shootout. Olmark had 30 saves including a big one in overtime

and he stopped all four shootout attempts as well. The Bruins host of Minnesota Wild tomorrow

afternoon as the homestane continues. Patriots will play Chicago Monday night in Foxboro and it appears that the team's

starting quarterback will return. ESPN reported yesterday. Mack Jones is expected to be active for that

game and the athletic reports that when he's healthy enough to play, Jones will indeed take

over for Bailey Zappi.

Jacoby Myers added yesterday, getting Jones back is a very good thing.

It's always good to have the guys back.

You know, Mack is a dog, man.

He's an ultimate competitor.

So just having them out there and the fighting spirit, it comes back very well with us, you know,

just guys who want to go out there and win.

And the more you guys got like that on the team, the better it is for you. Jones was limited yesterday at practice. Nelson Agalore, the only Patriots player to sit out thanks to a sore hamstring. Carolina started their rebuild. They traded top running back Christian McCaffrey to San Francisco late last night. In return, they got back second, third, and fourth round draft picks next summer, and a fifth rounder in 2022-23.

Also, Arizona beat New Orleans on Thursday night football 42-24.
