And I'm joined by a man who isn't bothered by 10.48pm Eastern kickoff times because he's on the West Coast. It's Joe Larry. Hello, Joe. Welcome back. Hey guys, how are you doing today? We're good. I would say we're sleep deprived by slept into catch up after the ultraficker game. Good for you.

Not so much for you, my friend. The dog needs walking. Yes, they did. All right. Well, let's start with the game that we didn't review yesterday. It was the NYC FC defensive horror show game where they lost two on at city city field. It's called spelled C I T I city field to Toronto FC two goals from my man.

Alejandro Potsrilo. What did you make of this game? What's your thoughts from yesterday? We had the right. We were ready to go. And then we didn't do it. I was pretty confused by this game because it seemed like Toronto kind of took it to NYCFC. They did the high press. They caused problems for them all over the place. Yeah.

Actually, that has had a great point on the broadcast right a great tactical point about how essentially I might see couldn't play out of it. Right. And then it seemed like Toronto kind of shifted into okay, we're going to see this out. We got to like kind of make sure we finish this one. No. And they started doing that like the baby basically at the start of the second half, but like inside the first like 10 minutes.

Yeah. And then they're already kind of being defensive. So when NYCFC equalize it felt for all the world to me like, okay, this is it. NYCFC are going to win two to one. Maybe three to one. The momentum is completely shifted. Toronto somehow whether that storm fight back get the late penalty draw that late penalty. And that's kind of where I wanted to start with Joe actually is wondering if Joe saw it that same way or if he was less surprised that Toronto were able to turn things around.

No, I did see it the same way. I thought this game was reminiscent weirdly. This is an odd comparison to make but of that RSL Portland game on the first round with some of the momentum swings that we saw. Yeah.

I think you guys kind of nailed it there. Toronto came out and as you're talking about Alexi Law is talking on the broadcast. They did press NYCFC's build up, which is something that I didn't think they'd be able to do. I thought NYCFC would be able to play through them and get some quality attacking chances from their possession. But, but no, Toronto came out and they pressed man for man.

They eliminated Alex Ring and Maxi Morales really from New York City's build up and that gave them the momentum to start even though they didn't grab a goal in that first half. They came out the start of the second half and got one of the pretty tough mistake from NYCFC's back line.

But they they came back and they took out. Oh, I'm sure we will. I'm sure we will. Then NYCFC saw a little momentum back in their favor.
