Association of Major League Baseball, and they came out with an announcement, expected by only

everyone that Bruce Meyer would be the executive director of the Major League Baseball

Players Association. But wait, not the permanent executive director, only the interim

executive director. But don't worry, they also have an interim deputy. They moved up someone from the general counsel's office. Thank God. Everything is good. That is what players were jumping all over themselves yesterday to make sure that everyone in the media knew so that all the owners would get the message.
