And we are welcoming back today, Todd Rose, who's the co-founder and president of Populist,

which is a think tank committed to ensuring that all people have the opportunity to pursue

fulfilling lives in a thriving society.

You may remember Todd because he wrote all about collective illusions,

and he and his team have been releasing reports,

all about what is the difference between, you know,

what people believe and what they think everybody else believes.

And we talked about a previous report with Todd.

We've talked about some of his reports without him.

He's doing some of the most important

work out there. And prior to Populist, he was a faculty member at Harvard University, where he founded

the Laboratory for Science of Individuality, and he directed the mind, brain, and education

program. He is the best-selling author of Collective Illusions, Dark Horse, and the End of Average,

and he lives in Massachusetts, which based on the quality of football there means he probably has a lot of time, which is probably why he's even on this podcast on a Monday morning. Todd, welcome to the pod. Thanks for having me, and you're right. It's a tough couple of years. Yeah, I'm a Bill's fan and things are looking up right now. Although by the time this airs, we will have played Miami.

So we'll get my joy out of the way now.

This is all about the American

dream and all about what people believe, like, what they want out of life. And then what they,

you know, what they believe other people think. Before we even get to any of that, just like,
