Looking back at Karen Bass's years as a Fidel Castro groupie, she was with a leftist revolutionary

group called the Ven Samaras Brigade, the sixth contingent of the Venzomeros

brigade. And it was a far left radical revolutionary group. She made eight trips as a young woman

to Cuba and even worked in construction in Cuba. and she found Castro to be extremely charismatic.

And this kind of hardened her belief in a real hard form of socialism or communism.

Sean Ryan was asking Newsom, whether eight years old is too young for

gender affirming surgery. Newsom went on a two and a half minute soliloquy and he got lost in the

forest, sunk in the bog and he never came out. I don't know what he was talking about.

He could not get through more than just a few words without interrupting himself or losing

his train of thought and was constantly circling back and rewording and reworking

his thought process.
