It's going to be a show about a dog.

I'm taking this from an old road show I did years ago.

It's the story of moose.

I decided to grab this tale, take it from the old podcast, the

Mishki Road Show, and make it part of this new podcast. So all the people who never even heard of

that road show could learn the story of moose. Once upon a time, there was a dog named Moose.

He was one of those dogs, like so many dogs, who endeared himself to a family.

You know, the way dogs do that.

They live such a few short years compared to the rest of us.

But in that time, they attach themselves to people in a way that's

really rather profound and a bit mysterious. They become almost larger than life a lot of the time,

with outsized roles that seem to speak to some extraordinary power they have.

I mean, you hear the stories time and time again.

Oh, our dog, Boomer.

Oh, boy, he was a legend.
