State Department records that Hunter Biden sought assistance from the

U.S. government for Brisbane and that and here's the part that sticks out to me.

The Times had put in a FOIA request for this information

from the State Department in June of 2021.

The State Department released these records

the same week Biden announced he wouldn't be running for president.
