So today we're going to be talking about the miracle of Jesus feeding the 5,000

and an interesting thing as I was studying this miracle that I found out it's actually

the only one of Jesus' miracles that's recorded in all four Gospels.

And so one of the things that tells me is clearly there's some... that's recorded in all four Gospels.

And so one of the things that tells me is clearly there's some principles

that he wanted us to gain from this miracle,

given that it's the only one he put in all four of his Gospels.

And so we're going to actually read about it from John chapter six.

So if you want to go ahead and turn there in your Bibles,

I know Pastor Robert usually has you turn to two chapters of scripture and

take your finger and put it in a marker in the second one.

So your marker finger the second one.

So your marker finger, whichever one that is,

gets a vacation this week,

because we're just turning to one passage of scripture.

But don't worry, I'm sure he'll put your finger

right back to work as soon as he comes back

from vacation.

So, but we're going to start reading in verse 5 of John 6 and it says this.

It says Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him.

Turning to Philip, he asked, where can we buy bread

to feed all these people?
