This is the greatest hour to follow Jesus. All right, go with me to Deuteronomy, the book of Deuteronomy chapter 10.

And I want to talk to you about ministering to the Lord, not for the Lord, to the Lord.

And why that is so important.

But before I read the scripture,

there is a power failure today in people's lives in the church.

It's a serious power failure in many people's lives. And the reason is, is they have

failed to minister to the Lord. And when we fail to minister to the Lord, we end up having a power failure.

Quite simple.

Because, biblically speaking, our ministry to the Lord comes before our ministry to the Church. Our ministry to the Lord comes before we minister for the Lord.

So you really cannot minister to the church or people till you minister to the Lord

because you cannot give away what you have not received.

You cannot give anyone what God has not given to you as you minister to him.

And you and I cannot be effective in touching people's lives

till God has touched our life.

And that happens when we minister to the Lord.

So the first thing before we can minister to the Lord,

we have to be caught up in the wonder of Jesus. You can't minister to him till he becomes more than wonderful in your life. So when we get caught in the wonder of the person of Jesus of

Nazareth, then things begin to change. Now, ministry to the Lord is so important, and I'm going to

show you why. Look at Deuteronomy 10, verse 8. At that time,

the Lord separated the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the

Lord, to minister unto the Lord, to minister unto him, and to bless his name.

So here is a whole tribe in Israel that minister to the Lord.
