This email came from our patron Nicole and it's titled, Help, I'm headed to the land of the Moes.

She writes, hello, lovely ladies. I've been listening to your podcast forever, and it's really helped me understand my mom.

We live in Illinois, but my mom is a happily excommunicated Mormon whose family all moved to Utah.

I was accepted to a University of Utah workshop, but I haven't been to Utah since I was like

10. I don't remember much, and I was basically oblivious to the cultural differences.

I have one aunt who is super Mormon and another who is Jack Mormon, her words not mine.

I'll be seeing them both along with their numerous, tithe-paying offspring.

That's where you all come in.

I thought it might be fun to do a mini-episode preparing this Nevermo for SLC.

Will I be able to find coffee?

Are people going to stare at my

slutty shoulders? Not that I give a fuck. What do I need to know? So, Nicole, what I did is I

did a call out on Instagram with a couple of stories asking people for their advice.

I asked them, what would you tell someone who hasn't been to Utah and is not Mormon?

What do they need to know?

I also put out a call for restaurants, bars, coffee shops, things like that.

And I have the screenshots here, so I am just going to go ahead

and share them. And the very first answer was, don't go. Ominous. This person says, everything is

closed on Sunday. So I'll clarify.
