Hi, Alina. Thanks for the email.

She writes, I just barely started listening to your podcast a couple days ago,

and it's really helped me cope with my decision to leave the church last Saturday.

I just barely got married in the temple

two months ago, mostly because I didn't want to let down my family. And my husband did it for me,

and that didn't last very long. I've just had some doubts, and my husband is agnostic,

and he used to be Mormon too. So he showed me the CES letter and I read it in one day and I've been basically inhaling information

and you guys have been so great.

Oh, thank you.

I remember when I learned about the CES letter and I just could not stop reading it. I totally relate. She asked,

do you guys have any advice of how to tell your family or friends that you aren't Mormon anymore?

I don't think I'll tell them for a while because I need to process everything and figure out

for myself what I

believe. But most of my family is very, very Mormon. So thank you guys for putting your stories out

there and helping people out. Well, thank you for your nice words. I, it's tough to give advice

about how to like come out to your family that you aren't Mormon anymore.

Because everyone's so different, you know, and everyone's relationships with their family and friends are so different.

In my experience, I didn't really explicitly come out and tell my family, hey, look, I've totally left.
