We are continuing these minis, and it's a good thing.

It is a good thing because it helps us kind of have these conversations on spiritual issues that edify one another, that sharpen one another.

And hopefully gets you guys listening to dig in yourselves and think about these things.

You know, as we were talking off air about kind of this topic,

we're taking a little bit of a off ramp from the mini series on rethinking eternal security

with something that is, I think, essential in supporting this topic that may not be directly related.

And that is the danger of dogma, of being dogmatic about things.

And then also proof texting, where we can lift verses out of the Bible to assert our opinion and kind of get in this,

as we were talking earlier, this tit for tat, you know, I believe this and here are the

verses, and then the other side doing the same thing. And we've got, you know,

40,000 plus denominations in this country, I believe.

Because of that.

So taking this little off-ramp into this topic, I think, is important because I'm sure many of you listening as we're rethinking eternal security, so to speak, in this series.

A lot of you are probably having those verses jump to your mind as you probably have strong opinions, many of you, on this topic,

either for or against.

And hopefully Rod and I are trying to provide a little nuance to it, that it's not so black and white. And there's a,

there's a danger in being black and white about all of that. Right, Rod? Yeah, I mean,

especially when we know that those who are the sons of God are led by the spirit of God. And we know
