And one of the fundamental things that we need to get right as we're trying to develop a God-centric mindset or a scripture-based mindset is another way to think of it,

is the issue of who is in charge of our lives.

We live in a day where individualism and self-realization

is encouraged, but friends, those are not biblical concepts. Those are not things God is encouraging us to go after. He's encouraging us to go after.

Let's look at the book of Psalms chapter 11 verse verse 10.

It says, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

All those who practiced it have a good understanding.

His praise endures forever. Now there's a companion verse in the

Psalms as well that says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. So this

idea of knowledge and wisdom and the understanding that come from it really are fundamental to a healthy mindset.

They may notice that I've titled this episode,

Time for a change of management.

And that's because this verse is expressing to us

that when we properly view God as king, as ruler, as creator of all, and ourselves as his creation, we suddenly

have this shift in relationship that occurs.
